Our Story
Charles "Reeferman" Scott
It started in 1995 on the Canadian prairies, when Charles "Reeferman" Scott began breeding as Prairie Seeds. Strains like Mortgage Buster and the Pound Plant were tough enough for short, hard seasons, and Marc Emery soon started calling them Prairie Fire. As Reeferman, Charles went on to breed cup winners like Pink Kush and Willie Nelson, entered the High Times Seed Bank Hall of Fame in 2007, and spent years collecting rare landraces and keeping old-school Haze lines alive. Today Scott Family Farms is the only official home of his genetics, straight from the breeder.
